Two WattCycle 12V 100Ah LiFePO4 Underseat H190 Smart (with Self-Heating) battery units have just arrived at our workshop. Below is the complete technical overview, unboxing impressions, and the current build status.
Unboxing & Build Quality
The packages arrived in pristine condition, securely cushioned inside thick custom-molded foam to protect the units from transit shocks.
- Internal Structure & Shock Resistance: The battery features rigid metal internals, providing enhanced vibration and mechanical impact resistance designed for demanding environments.
- Thermal Management & Layout: The internal architecture ensures superior thermal dissipation and maximizes internal volume utilization.
- Low-Profile H190 Form Factor: The compact underseat layout (standing at just 190 mm in height) significantly lowers the center of gravity and easily fits into tight enclosure spaces inside the robot chassis.
- Hardware & Terminals: Heavy-duty M8 screw terminals come protected with form-fitted insulating covers, along with an integrated, stowable carrying handle.
- Out-of-the-Box Telemetry: Initial pairing via Bluetooth confirmed a storage SOC of 49%, a resting voltage of 13.17V, and an ambient temperature readout of 22.8°C.

Build Status & Upcoming Timeline
The robot frame is currently in the active fabrication phase, with precise steel cutting, fitting, and structural welding underway in the workshop. Between September and October, we will publish a comprehensive feature article covering the official launch of the project, including structural details, power architecture integration, and initial shop testing.
